Na dag 1… #DAFT4 #Plaat5 #Gearporn

Recently purchased a #NikonF4, and what's the best way to test it? Take some pics of other cameras, of course.

This means that my quest to get an example of each 1-digit Nikon Fs is 50 % complete!

✅ All speeds work.
✅ Light meter works.
✅ Hot shoe and PC-sync for flash work.
✅ LCDs are clear (mostly).
✅ A fvcking joy to use.
❌ Manual focus for a cheeky self-portrait is still tricky. Oh well!

And for today's lens extravaganza, a long and heavy Sigma 135-400mm F4.5-5.6 APO DG in a native FourThirds mount on my Panasonic GX7.
It's a handful.

Wäre von der Brennweite nichts für mich, aber gut sieht sie wieder aus. Die #leica Q3 43.
So wunderbar minimalistisch.

Ok, no need for two film cameras, MZ-S can do a mid-roll change; I can live without 17mm ultra-wide and 100mm tele on a film - that's one camera and three lenses less, not a bad reduction!
Here's my setup for the next two days: Pentax MZ-S, 24/2.8 and 50/1.4; Canon 5Dmk2, 50/1.4, a compact 24-70mm and Mamiya 150/4 lenses. Kodak Ektachrome 320T and Ilford XP2 Super films. Should be enough and (almost) everything fits into a smallish bag, yay!

Do I need everything here for a day, day-and-a-half of vacation? Probably not, maybe I can switch to a smaller bag somehow...

Upgraded my power supply and now I can power more things, so here’s what my board looks like as of right now. Trying to handle all of my current projects with one configuration.

We are eager to announce our new guitarist (m/f/x). We will do so on April 27th, making our live debut with the new line-up at Big Ass Metal Fest. As a sneak preview, here is his/her/their gear. Any ideas yet? 😁

Now - this is where my memory starts to get a bit wonky. The #GearPorn addiction was starting to unfold and I went through a process of wanting EVERYTHING. Enter the #DDJ-RZ (I think that was the model….). And absolute beast of a controller, only downside was the layout was quite unique. I also bought some turntables to add to the mix. I possess a very unpopular opinion with this by stating that capacitive jog wheel are far superior to mechanical….

Then I went minimal for a hot minute. That's when I started really getting into Traktor.

DJM900nexus - Traktor Kontrol X1

Stay tuned because this didn't last long and eventually I went completely ballistic with gear...
