Thanks to all the people who made this possible again!

Our #gdcr #gdcr2024 crew is deep in it, implementing Conway's Game of Life with the "test-driven development as if you meant it" constraint. It's the 11th annual Global Day of Coderetreat and our ~11th time hosting it in #Pittsburgh.

The Coderetreat workshop teaches #TDD and pair programming under the premise of @kentbeck's four rules of simple design.

#gdcr global day of code retreat was tons of fun and hosting it for @codersonly was so much fun. Six sessions of pairing and tdd in six different languages with very interesting constraints were quite a challenge

I had a ton of fun at the #GDCR in Vienna today!

- Two great ensemble sessions that I had the privilege to facilitate
- Three more sessions of pair programming, where we explored writing "Tetris" under different constraints
- Meeting old AND NEW friends
- Great conversations during the breaks
