When I picked up my #GCSE results, someone from the local rag snapped my photo, then asked me my name.
A few days later, the photo appeared in the paper. I looked dour, cross-eyed, deranged. The caption read 'Some pupils, such as Raymond (pictured), were not happy with their poor results' -
Braverman (Queens College, Cambridge, law) urges #GCSE students getting results not to study ‘pointless degrees’ like she did. :p

From the #Oxford Clarion: Free #Latin #GCSE lessons are on offer for Year 8 and 9 pupils whose schools do not teach it. Oxford University's Latin Teaching Scheme (OxLAT) was first run in 2008 and relaunched in 2015. The deadline for applications is 15 May, with 40 places available.
