Eerily similar to early #GCF meetings ten years ago: Similar issues (doing #climatefinance differently, direct access, role of WB), similar rhetoric, even some of the same delegates.

Der Green Climate Fund #GCF meldet, 27 Staaten hätten sich verpflichtet, über einen Zeitraum von vier Jahren knapp 10 Billionen US-Dollar in den Fonds einzuzahlen. Deutschland ist auch darunter. Die USA nicht.
Diese Gelder sollen in sogenannte „Entwicklungsländer” fließen, um dort den Ausbau erneuerbarer Energien voranzutreiben und die Folgen der Klimakrise zu bekämpfen.
Für mehr #Klimagerechtigkeit müssten aber vor allem reiche Staaten ihre Emissionen reduzieren.
