Das neue Premiumgerät #Hiroh - kann man auch bei #Murena bestellen - macht aufgrund des CEO einen wenig vertrauenswürdigen Eindruck.
Dann bleibt mir ja eigentlich nur #GrapheneOS, wenn ich wirklich etwas ändern möchte. In Kombination mit einem alltagstauglichen und zuverlässigen Gerät.

⚠️ PSA for those using the #GoogleCamera alias #GCam:
Starting with version 10 the GCam no longer works without Play Services installed. Latest version known to be working without them is 9.9.
If you are affected by this and don't want to get the update by accident you should blacklist the app in your app store such as #AuroraStore.

¿Voy a usar las cosas de IA que tiene el móvil? Seguramente no. ¿Las he usado para probarlo? Por supuesto.
Lo que sí he hecho es desactivar Gemini como asistente por defecto. Uso el asistente en mi Pixel Watch* (es realmente cómodo para poner alarmas y recordatorios) y mi sorpresa fue mayúscula cuando vi que Gemini invadió mi reloj. No me habría importado tanto si no llega a ser porque Gemini tarda mucho más en responder a lo que le pido que lo que tardaba el Asistente de Google "de toda la vida" (con el mayor consumo en la nube que eso conlleva y que el propio Gemini me reconoció).
He visto que Google ha sacado algo llamado Gemini Nano que viene a ser un LLM similar a Gemini pero que funciona en local. Pues mira, mejor que sigan por ahí, pero, de momento, tampoco lo necesito.
*Sí, también pasé por el aro cuando se murió mi Pebble.

Did some more research and comparisons today into a new #mobilePhone after seeing the 8GB model of the #Xiaomi #RedmiNote11Pro5G on second-hand marketplace #FINN for about the same price as the #RedmiNote10Pro.
Unfortunately it looks like the camera chipset isn't as good as the 10 Pro's, and doesn't even support 1080p60 or 4K (though perhaps a #GCam port could solve that?) and has dodgy or no electronic image stabilisation.
It also looks like they went from a #dualSIM + individual SD slot on the 10 Pro, to a dualSIM/SD hybrid slot setup on the 11 Pro 5G instead, which is kinda disappointing.
The overall chipset seems to be a bit more powerful with better benchmark scores though and slightly better battery life...One of the comments on Reddit described it a bit as follows:
"The 10 Pro is the best among the three. The successor of the 10 Pro is the 11 Pro+ 5G ('plus', not to be confused with the budget version which is the 11 Pro 5G)
Below the 11 Pro 5G is the 11 Pro. The 11 Pro is the successor of the 10S while the 11S is a budget version of the 11 Pro."So, I guess my current pick from these #mobilePhones would be the #Redmi #Note10Pro then... but it's also not quite giving me that 'I want you' feeling.
I guess I can stretch the phone a bit longer and hope something better pops up, but I do kinda need something better before the temperatures drop, as the current battery does not hold a charge at all in cold temps... Like, it can drop from 50% to 0 in a matter of minutes.
