20 months ago Transitous began its operation. With the recent additions in Chile and Egypt we now have data in over 60 countries, put together by 90 contributors and taken from more than 2200 #GTFS and #GBFS feeds.
When we started stop-to-stop routing in a few countries seemed to be what's realistically achievable. Today we can do door-to-door routing through entire continents, from Helsinki to Lisbon or from New York City to San Francisco.

@SheDrivesMobility @franziska Leider steht der #bcs der Veröffentlichung von Stations- und Fahrzeug-Verfügbarkeitsdaten skeptisch gegenüber, weshalb im Leitfaden Hinweise hierauf fehlen. Wir empfehlen Kommunen etc bei Einführung von Carsharing-Angeboten darauf zu achten, das potentielle Nutzer*innen auf möglichst vielen Kanälen von verfügbaren Fahrzeugen erfahren können. Dazu müssen die Daten hierüber unter offener Lizenz, zB im #gbfs Standard, veröffentlicht werden

@franziska @vcd @SheDrivesMobility für bessere Auffindbarkeit auch über Drittanbieter-Apps (Verkehrsverbund, Google, Transit, stadtnavi etc) ist die Verfügbarkeit der Daten wichtig, idealerweise unter offener Lizenz im #gbfs Standard. Für MOQO / https://barshare.de haben wir sogar nen Konverter gebaut. #barshare ist unseres Wissens nach auch ein recht erfolgreiches #eCarSharing Angebot
