I have been going on a work fast to protest the #gaza_genocide and the #ClimateCrisis for the past few months. The two are related, as is the growing #economic_inequality. What feeds the system is capital that our labor creates.

Geen Horizon 2020-projecten van de EU, geen grote programma’s voor samenwerking en uitwisseling. Israëlische universiteiten gaan daar ook prat op. Ze claimen dat ze uitzonderlijk internationaal, progressief en democratisch zijn, maar tegelijk willen ze niet ter verantwoording worden geroepen.”

Dat laatste is misschien wel de crux: de hele tijd vervelend vinden dat er zoveel aandacht is voor Israël, en die overdreven aandacht al snel antisemitisch vinden, maar ondertussen wel presenteren als een moderne staat.
