Trimmed 9 small bowls and a ladle rest today! Most of them have pretty good shapes -- even the (weird) rimmed one --- although I'm kinda meh on two I didn't put a foot on. Still time to decide to toss them before I bisque them though.

Okay so there’s a non-zero chance I may have successfully created a teapot last night while everyone else was firing their raku pieces. #PotterByNight #gaypotter

Tonight was #raku night at the pottery, and I almost didn’t have anything to fire. Then I remembered this little number sitting on my shelf, waiting for inspiration. So I thought, white crackle & black luster might be fun. But I only had 30 minutes to get my glaze on.

Turns out the black luster really likes to run, so my very frantically meticulous line of glazing became a chaotic copper river. I’m actually quite tickled by the result.

Alchemy is wild, man.
