Sutton Place was the big gay disco, when I visited Minneapolis in the 1980s. #sylvester #disco #gaydisco here is a blast from the past. Sylvester with his big hit, You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real.) I saw him perform in 1986 in a half empty bar in Atlanta on a Wednesday night. The only people there were bar employees from around town (mainly DJs, but many bartenders as well) and me. Nonetheless, he was fabulous, silver eyeshadow and all! He was gone two years later.😪
