Eine gute Freundin von mir organisiert mit und es wird toll 😍 es gibt ein nices Awarenesskonzept.
In Balingen haben 25% AfD gewählt. Gerade deshalb ist es umso wichtiger, dass wir die queere Community sichtbar machen und auch aus anderen Städten zu solchen Parties fahren - auch wenn es queere Partys in der eigenen Stadt gibt.

I've produced 80 frame looms for Art Squared, an annual art fair and competition in Indianapolis, as giveaways from The Church Within. It was a lot of laser cutting! They are lovely, though, and this is a great prototype for my Creative Placemaking events that'll run in 2024. Stoked!

One Day It Shall Please Us to Remember Even This: I miss the Sunday tea dances at The Timberline in Seattle. The music was typically retro disco (think Amii Stewart’s “Knock on Wood”), and one of the highlights was the theme from “Xanadu”, which never failed to produce squeals of joy as we rushed onto the dance floor to sing along.

As we begin Pride month, as a member of the gay community and as clergy, I'm hyper aware of how much celebration there is of large corporate representation, representation in religious and spiritual spaces that aren't actually even safe for us, and all the messages of inclusivity that will rise up then subside with the turning of the month.

I just got really excited about how close I am to finishing massage school, then remember it's still May. I do so much event planning in the future that my brain gets confused about when I am.
That's who my Friday is going!
I am, still, very close to being done with the classes; I'm just not so close that it's time to start an online coundown.

Today we hosted a Drag Queen Story Hour with Halle Pino, a local queen with multiple titles who is an incredible activist and community leader. We hosted this at the spiritual community I lead, and it couldn't have been better! What a wonderful day, and I'm glad to have gotten a photo with this old friend.
