The Gävle Goat made it through most of the yuletide, but fell down in the storm.

The crane and flatbed have arrived. The wreckage of the collapsed Gävle goat is being dismantled and removed. So GoatWatch is definitely fully over. Can't even watch the heap o' goat.

#Gävlebocken has been getting better at PvP in the last decade, but its PvE game has suffered dismally. Getting three-little-pigs'd is at least less embarrassing than getting eaten by a flock of jackdaws.

So I guess GoatWatch2025 is over. It's too late in the season for them to rebuild and the wooden frame probably needs repairs. Nothing's been confirmed yet, so I'll post any news about when the wreckage of the goat will be taken away, or any other developments. What's left could still burn after all! Meanwhile, thanks for following the morning updates! See you in December 2026.
