Backstory::
     So before I got into mechanical keyboards, I always bought prefabs and never thought anything of mechanicals. Someone introduced me and convinced me to take on the hobby and had a smooth transition into becoming an enthusiast.
     My first keyboard I had assembled myself was a GH60 Satan pcb with clear Gateron switches. I was aiming for a clear/rgb aesthetic. In the process of assembling it myself, I gained a lot of experience soldering and desoldering. This helped me land a better paying job I held for two year afterward before moving on. Overall, the entire process of putting together the parts and programming my keyboard was as much entertaining to me as it was insightful and educational.

In the pic(today):::
The pcb I use today is a
- #1upkeyboards 1UP RGB 60% PCB HTE (Hotswap Tsangan Edition)
- Clear #Gateron switches
- Clear blank keycap set from #MaxKeyboards as well as a few artesian keycaps
- Modified case from the original GH60 Satan

In the future:::
My next planned build is an #ergodox which I already have the resistors soldered onto the pcbs, but still need the remaining parts(switches, caps etc) which I will need to order.

What's the point of building a #MechanicalKeyboard if you don't take aesthetic pics of it?

In the end, here it came my new #mechanical #keyboard.
The case is a barebone #Glorious #GMMK 1, #ISO #TKL.
Switches are #Gateron #SMD blue.
Keycaps are #YMDK #Dolch #PBT side-printed, full 125 set plus #Italian and German sets, mixed together to create the Italian 142 layout on the keyboard.
So, in the end "Dr. Black", my new keyboard, is here.

In the end, I've bought a #Glorious GMMK TKL ISO Barebone keyboard from #Amazon, adding #Gateron SMD blue switches and wonderfully cool 😉 side-printed PBT Dolch black keycaps (Italian ISO layout: https://ymdkey.com/collections/oem-profile-1/products/dolch-laser-eteched-uk-italian-german-spain-iso-oem-profile-thick-pbt-keycap-for-mx-mechanical-keyboard-ymd96-kbd75-104-87-61) from #YMDK (https://ymdkey.com?sca_ref=2424675.oUuDgOYlw6).
I've even added German ISO extra keycaps to basically have my perfect keyboard: Italian 142 ISO layout as in https://www.kbdlayout.info/KBDIT142/

I'm indeed happy.
