My question is: *Is the Govt reading this?*. They should, because the window on legislating bountyful #GasTaxes on the #SuperProfits currently enjoyed by the #GasIndustries is rapidly closing. If #AlboPM keeps going at his #SlugSpeed on this overwhelmingly supported #Tax there will be little to celebrate and Consolidated Revenue will not see its full potential (if Gas Peak hasn’t already gone past us).
The other important question is: *WTF is Labor even considering new #FossilFuel and especially #GasField exploration and #Exploitation licences* (in the NW)? What in blazes is he blind to? Is this a obvious case of #StateCapture by preferential and idiotic treatment? How can the *whole* of govt, the pollies, the public service, the NGOs all be going along with this #Circus ? No detractors to be seen in the halls of power? Could #AlboPM really be pulilng *ALL* the strings? Is everyone with one ounce of *decision-making* authority hell bent on maintaining the current economic *joke* ? If not, then why aren’t we seeing a backbench and crossbench revolt in Partliament. Why aren’t we seeing public information flooding the news medium? Why aren’t we seeing GOvt taken. To Court on their failure of *Duty of Care* ? Class actions filling the Courts’ agenda. The #Greens flooding us with outrage at the inaction we observe and which makes us angry?
I have a lot of questions… and so far, no answers! There has been no better time to see that doing the same thing and expecting better results is either a conspiracy (lead by the #RentierClass and its minions) or wholesale brainwashing of the power elites. WTF will it take for the electorate to demand much *Better* from our representataives?

The cool thing with empty gas fields is that we can drill 3000 metre down below the sea.
Humanity have the technology to see that there is a gas field that deep (or an empty one in this case). That alone is fairly impressive.
We also have the technology to drill all the way down there and pump stuff up or down. While there are tens or hundreds of metre sea water above it.
