If #food is on your mind, may I suggest Scallops with puréed shallots and black-peppered tangerines- from the late, great Gary Rhodes’ “Cookery Year: Autumn into Winter”
You can go nuts and have it as a main or you can have it as we did, as a kick-butt starter. It's unbelievably delicious. In this photo, the part of tangerine segments were played by clementines, out of necessity.
And don't scrimp on the brandy pan jus.
