Whoops, I forgot to install Libreoffice Still on this computer and the hunspell-en_us package, which isn't automatically installed due to my locale being set to USA (weird behavior).
Maybe spellchecking will work better on this computer now as I have multiple solutions on this silly laptop. I might end up moving it back to Garuda Mokka, perhaps. Or not. It depends.
A bonus action was figuring out how to change my wallpaper using Azote. A handy little picture browser and wallpaper setter front end that is part of a greater project designed to make Sway and other wlroots WMs easier to use!
At first I scratched my head, but after thinking a second I figured it out. That is how idiot proof that Azote is!
