Oooh shoot… Garmin did harden their login flow and my #cURL foo did capitulate. Hours later… Not even Selenium did work anymore, but got my IP blocked at cloudflare.

Now using #Garth to get me an access token https://github.com/matin/garth I wish I could just sign up for the Garmin developer program, but they say "only business"… Meeeh.

Nach 10 Jahren Rechtsstreitigkeiten mit Paramount und CBS kommt in ein paar Monaten endlich Axanar heraus. Das als lockeres Side Project gedachte Documentary "Prelude to Axanar" hat die Fangemeinde und Paramount durcheinandergewirbelt. Von der Übernahme Paramounts durch Skydance erhoffen sich viele Fans ein neuer Umgang mit Fan-Filmen als die Knebel- und Anwaltspolitik von Paramount.

In case someone is interested, with a bit of #cURL and #jq you get the JWT tokens out of #Garmin connect so that you can use your data from their site without registering an app (which is quite hard) https://github.com/michael-simons/garmin-babel/blob/main/bin/retrieve_garmin_tokens.sh

#Garth exists https://github.com/matin/garth but its proper OAuth flow always go trough a fixed consumer token…
