A few days alone at home allowed me to begin recording the album I want to dedicate to this cute cheap instrument (which belongs to my girlfriend).
It is a little #garmon (also called #garmoshka), a Russian diatonic and unisonoric #accordion. This one plays only G major scale (or E minor) + D#.
I'll add other instruments later (violin…) but Here is the recording of the garmon for the first two tracks (together in 1 file) :

On my #garmon set, I needed a tune to play together with "Sussex Cotillion".
So here's "Fashion Cotillion" (title in the vibe of some 18th-century French titles "Le nouveau cotillon", "Le cotillon à la mode", etc.)Recorded quickly here (well, no, I play it too slowly, but... anyway, you get the idea):

On my annual to-do list is the production of a booklet for the #garmoshka (#garmon, #kromka), that little diatonic unisonoric #accordion which is easy to learn and yet has the musical potential of a 'real' instrument (in my opinion).
I'm convinced that tablature is irrelevant for this kind of instrument: it's better to learn to read music. BUT as interested people are often put off by the SOLFÈGE, I'd like to add a friendly TAB under the score. I'm working to find an easy system... -
Until I get the diatonic accordion of my life, I've decided to play my girlfriend's garmoshka every day to see if I can still learn (at my age😜 ). Well, yes, I'm still not happy with my playing, but it's getting easier all the time. It's a pleasure.

i've got garmons and bayans on the brain.
i can't believe eastern europe has all this diversity in accordions. you know they really love it.
i believe the instrument in this video is a garmon (they refer at one point to the "garmoshka", which is a cute name for a garmon): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRtll3eup88
