My wife is bored of all the modern games and went back to #MightAndMagic 8.

It has 1D9 weapons vs 2D4 weapons. But my "dice roll compare" page didn't support odd polyhedrals.

Now it does. And apparently they average out the same! But 2D4 can't do the extremes (1/9) and is more consistently middling.
