the worst religious ethno-nationalism is #christofascism, the teats of which all other current religious ethno-nationalisms hang from. (sorry for the shitty grammar, i'm angry)
if it were not for Christendom in the crusader sense, and the colonialism spawned by it, the evils of the other religious ethno-nationalisms would never have arisen.

when i was a child raised in a Protestant Christian household, i was fascinated by the iconography & mythology of the crusades, the knights templar & arthur's round table, etc etc, until i learned some actual history. "Deus Vult!" sounded cool until i learned it was a battle cry for slaughtering Jews. it's creepy how crypto-fascist X-Chan boys online love the same knights in armor iconography i liked when i was, like, 11 years old. pathetic actually

so much of the imperial gamesmanship of the ruling classes is just so much boys playing with toys, jeux sans frontières
