A few days late to the party, but I've just seen Henry Cavill's latest statement about the Warhammer 40K stuff that he's working on.

* Live-action series (he _will_ be starring in it)
* An entire Amazon: Secret Level series based around the Deathwatch

Let's just up that the Secret Level series is more interesting that that one uninspiring "story and environment and exposition isn't important, just splatter blood and bullets everywhere" episode that they made before 😕

Após algum tempo sem atualizações, esta semana tivemos novidades importantes sobre a série da Amazon MGM Studios baseada na franquia de jogos Warhammer. O realizador Mike Flanagan, que atualmente possui contrato de exclusividade com o estúdio, foi escalado para coordenar o desenvolvimento dos roteiros da série, que além da empresa Games Workshop contará com a United Artists em sua produção. Já Henry Cavill (na imagem em destaque) segue confirmado na produção e como protagonista do programa. Também foi anunciado que o universo Warhammer da Amazon também incluirá uma série em CGI derivada de Nível Secreto, série animada antológica do Prime Video que teve um episódio baseado em Warhammer 40.000. Between the app and the fact that there's only free extracts and no purchase options on BlackLibrary.com then I guess that means that there's now ZERO chance of them ever doing a Humble Bundle again 🙄

(And I'm not buying from the app because a) my Kindle won't support it, b) reading on a phone is a shit-awful experience, c) I'm not buying an Android tablet just to read some ebooks and d) reading on a tablet rather than an e-ink device is ALSO a shit-awful experience)

[P] It's an interesting thought exercise to consider the enshittification of the t'au. Since around 2020 and the 4th Codex, Games Workshop has been pushing hard to make them cartoonishly evil. It's a stark difference versus early t'au, where concepts so contrary to their existence—like the malk'la—just didn't exist. Current t'au lore contradicts itself constantly as an affect of rushing to hotfix in out-of-place evil.
