I do find the premise of #GameOverse to be mildly interesting from a literary analysis stand point.
Dunno if the show made from that premise will be or can be entertaining.
But at least the premise is academically interesting.

I got around to watching the #Gameoverse pilot and I really like it visually and all the nostalgia that it links back to with Kit and Kaboodle and their world pulling aesthetically from Megaman Legends etc.
The premise bothers me and that's not to say it's a bad premise. The heroes fight to maintain a status quo that's unjust and unsustainable to avoid horrors that come with the status quo's end. The villains have a vision that recreates the unjust power they had in the preceding status quo but at least have a vision.
The heroes are seemingly unable to consider a positive future even though they are themselves already in a post-status quo existence.
So, I don't know how the show reckons with that. In the pilot it goes for "you did what you thought was right."
