If I had to guess, I would say that the narrative of modern #Doom games was intended to be “isn’t it 🤘 metal that the demons fear you, bro?!” rather than a look at how different factions of the conflict tell the story. But it is a fascinating read.

I just happened to listen to the #GameOST again, and it has some of those “this guy hates us and wants to kill us all” narrations there.
And it is 🤘 metal, too.

And looking further into it: The game itself is from the same crew that brought us Sonic Before the Sequel and its successor Sonic After the Sequel. Those games had an equally amazing OST

О, композитор GTTOD, оказывается, выложил саундтрек второго акта!
…в который, кажется, полностью включён саундтрек первого, в том числе амбиентные версии треков.
Пока что все саундтреки, имевшие разные версии одного и того же трека под разные игровые контексты, были исключительно хороши:
