The last MIT Flea / Swapfest of the year is this coming Sunday, October 19th. I will be selling! I want stuff out of my home! All unreasonable offers will be entertained and/or entertaining!
Among other things I will have are:
- a Power Macintosh 7200/90 with a 300 MHz G3 upgrade card
- a 400 MHz G4 Graphite desktop, in its original box

This is by far the biggest pixel art piece I've ever done. I normally like to stick to very low res and mostly sprite work, but for some reason I decided to make this "totally not a gameboyTM" have an accurate screen size. And why not do it in the GB Studio DMG palette while I'm at it?
I'm very proud of it though, it turned out far better than I could have imagine! I'm excited to use it as a stream asset in as many ways as I can dream up xP

Hrmm. Speaker sounded terrible after loading some games so I went to investigate. The front face of the speaker seems to have laminated itself to the printed grille? I printed this a week ago. It wasn’t a hot part. Can a speaker get that hot?
I reassembled speaker-less for now.

I love this use of “extra” space from the Pi-Tin folks. I’m a competent enough solderer, but it will still be kind of fun and reassuring to test my skills with the extra bits.
…Or maybe I use it to teach my 8yo about soldering…

I have been playing some more #Castlevania #AriaOfSorrow and yep. This is awesome. I really like this location I just got to, the clock tower! Lots of moving mechanisms.

Bunnymark (bunnies number till stutters): 40 bunnies in old core, 340 bunnies in new core

I still love the Anbernic RG35XX with GarlicOS but wow I find myself having to write a bunch of scripts to run on the device to fix things that go wrong...
Luckily I'm getting better at writing them, so that's a nice bonus. (Shell scripts were never my strong point.)

One of my tweaks for the Anbernic running GarlicOS. Since I am not an old time gamer I don't know what the heck controller goes with what the heck old console system!
So I added text labels. I didn't really plan it out so it could have been much better, but it works for now.
It was just a matter of editing the images on the SD card.
