The Séance of Blake Manor was good, but still harbor the two core issues plaguing detective games:
- stuff your character understands (and solve) before you do and, worse,
- stuff you understand before your character (and then must painfully find the game designer's intended way to solve a mystery you've already figured out).
Still, those are very hard issues for the genre, and the game is pleasant enough and well written despite them.

A beautiful short article about playing Final Fantasy for the first time today, by Kimimi. I loved every part of it.

Another good piece on #1000xResist, this time by Wallace Truesdale, talking about how the game pictures violent rebellion against injustice and puts it into perspective in all its dangerous complexities.

Very good read by Reno Evangelista about #1000xResist, the story it tells and the Communion it tries to achieve.
1000xResist: The You That Remains
Full of spoilers of course, but also made me wanna replay through the game with newfound knowledge. Hekki ALLMO.
