How do you call the kind of rendering that things like Pico8, Picotron, Love2d and I think Monogame and Raylib do, where you actively tell the engine what to draw in a specific draw function? As opposed to having game objects with a sprite component like Unity, Godot, Pixijs and... well, most engines. Is it immediate mode rendering? I've never called it that. It is... liberating. Do you know more engines that work this way? #gamedevelopment
