I lived, chat. My gallbladder was like sand it had so many small gallstones in it. One of them was in my bile duct and that's what caused my really bad gallbladder attack last month. I guess I had an infection at one point because all the gallstones were black.

Bit of a long shot here, but I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has gotten rid of gallstones other than by having their gall bladder removed.
In particular I'm interested in how effective therapies like ESWL have been for people.
How big was the largest stone?
Was the therapy successful?
Any side-effects?
Did you get more gallstones later on?Obviously I'm aware of the sensible dietary and lifestyle changes that will also help.
