Koniec z rozmytymi zdjęciami dzieci? Samsung szykuje rewolucyjną matrycę, na którą chrapkę ma też Apple

Każdy, kto próbował zrobić ostre zdjęcie bawiącemu się psu lub biegnącemu dziecku smartfonem Galaxy, wie, że to wyzwanie.

Mimo topowej specyfikacji, koreańskie flagowce wciąż zmagają się z rozmyciem ruchu. Samsung opracowuje jednak technologię, która może odesłać ten problem do muzeum.

Jak donosi 9to5Google, powołując się na koreańskie media, Samsung pracuje nad sensorem typu „global shutter-level”. To fundamentalna zmiana w sposobie, w jaki aparat „widzi” świat.

Rolling vs. Global – o co chodzi?

Większość dzisiejszych smartfonów (w tym iPhone i Galaxy S25) korzysta z migawki postępowej (rolling shutter). Matryca odczytuje obraz linia po linii – z góry na dół. Choć dzieje się to błyskawicznie, przy bardzo szybkim ruchu obiekt zdąży się przemieścić, zanim sensor dotrze do dolnych linii. Efekt? Rozmycie lub dziwne zniekształcenia (np. wygięte śmigła wiatraków, łopat śmigłowca czy śmigieł samolotu).

Migawka globalna (global shutter) odczytuje całą matrycę w ułamku sekundy. Ruch zostaje idealnie „zamrożony”. Problem? Prawdziwy global shutter jest drogi, zajmuje dużo miejsca i generuje gigantyczne ilości danych naraz.

Hybrydowy trik Samsunga

Inżynierowie Samsunga wymyślili sprytny kompromis. Zamiast budować pełnoprawny global shutter, stworzyli strukturę, w której piksele są grupowane w paczki 2×2 (z osobnym konwerterem analogowo-cyfrowym dla każdej paczki). W połączeniu z nowymi algorytmami AI, taki sensor zachowuje się niemal jak global shutter, eliminując opóźnienia, ale mieszcząc się w obudowie smartfona.

Jest haczyk (i szansa dla iPhone’a)

Obecnie technologia ta pozwala na tworzenie matryc o rozdzielczości zaledwie 12 MP. To za mało na główny obiektyw w dobie matryc 200 MP, ale idealnie sprawdziłoby się w obiektywach ultraszerokokątnych lub teleobiektywach, których często używamy w sporcie.

Co ciekawe, raport sugeruje, że Apple również jest zainteresowane tą technologią. Nie jest tajemnicą, że to Samsung dostarcza matryce do iPhone’ów. Niewykluczone więc, że walka z rozmyciem ruchu wejdzie niebawem na zupełnie nowy, sprzętowy poziom – u obu gigantów.

Prawdziwy następca Galaxy Watch Ultra dopiero w 2026 roku. Samsung planuje zmianę nazewnictwa

Galaxy S25 gets the June 2025 update ahead of One UI 8 Beta 2

Samsung has recently began distributing the June 2025 security patch to the Galaxy S25 series. This is built on top of the One UI 7.0 that uses Android 15 as the base. This update is required for the second beta of One UI 8.0. According to the latest data, we have found the following firmware versions released:

• Galaxy S25 Ultra: AYF2
• Galaxy S25+: AYF2
• Galaxy S25: AYF2

The Korean units still didn’t receive the June 2025 security update, but should be soon.

To obtain the update, follow these steps:

1. Open the Settings app
2. Navigate to Software update
3. Tap on Download and Install
4. You should be able to see the update information. Verify the version with your device model posted above.
5. Click on Download, let it download, and click on Install. Make sure that you download the update through Wi-Fi.

This security update should take 5 to 10 minutes maximum to install. Make sure that you have the phone charged fully before initiating the update process to avoid interruptions. Back up your data to your PC, the cloud, or any other device in case the update went wrong. Don’t interrupt the update process, or you’ll experience problems later. To mitigate green line issues caused by heat, do the update on a well-ventilated room.
