[9/21] Samsung releases new One UI 9.0 Beta versions to the Galaxy A35 and A55

The One UI 9.0 beta program started for users with the expansion to a few more devices in eligible countries, including the Galaxy A35. It provided several features, such as the Masking Tape feature in Samsung Notes and the enhanced quick panel that allows you to take it to the next level in your style with even more customization options.

Starting from today, One UI 9.0 Beta 2 is now available for those who have already joined the beta program with the Galaxy A35 and the A55. The new beta version of One UI 9.0 is now available to fix some bugs and to incorporate general improvements across the whole operating system based on user feedback and internal evaluation.

One UI 9.0 Beta is available under build ZZI4 for the Galaxy A35 and ZZI4 for the Galaxy A55, which joined the beta program receiving it.

The following changes were made for the Galaxy A35 and A55:

• Bugs that have been fixed
  • Improved camera stability

We encourage you to please report all bugs found to the Beta program community so that Samsung will analyze your feedback and implement fixes and/or improvements based on them.

To update your Galaxy to the newest One UI 9.0 Beta, first make sure that you are already in the beta program. Then, follow these steps:

1. Open Settings, and navigate to System Update
2. Tap on Check for Updates
3. Press Download and Install
4. Wait until the download and the installation is complete, then press Reboot Now
5. Wait until the phone reboots successfully

Make sure that you’re connected to a stable and fast Wi-Fi network to avoid high mobile data fees. Never interrupt the update in any way, or problems could occur later. Make sure that you apply all available updates once you update your phone for maximum stability. An update might take 10 to 20 minutes to apply, depending on the device and the type of the update being applied.

One UI 9.0 Beta Program is now open for the Galaxy A35!

One UI 9.0 has reached the beta stage since three months ago, as previously announced by Samsung. This version of One UI 9.0 is a platform upgrade to Android 17 that introduces several improvements across areas, along with some new features.

We are very thrilled to announce that Samsung has recently opened the One UI 9.0 Beta Program for the Galaxy A35 in Korea and possibly more countries.

This gives us a hint that the Beta Program is now open for those who are using the Galaxy A35. Users should be able to try out One UI 9.0 in its earliest shape and form on their Galaxy A35 devices.

To join the Beta Program, you must have the latest version of Samsung Members installed. You can get the latest version through either the Galaxy Store or the Play Store. Once done, you should be able to join the program if you have an eligible device.

Samsung releases One UI 8 for the Galaxy A35 in India!

We are excited to announce that starting from today, One UI 8 users can now download the One UI 8 update to their Galaxy A35 smartphones in India as Samsung has finally released this version of One UI. Your Galaxy has now become more powerful as One UI 8 brings more powerful features.

The firmware information states:

• Galaxy A35: CYI8 [INS]

To obtain the update, perform the following steps:

1. Open the Settings app
2. Navigate to Software Updates
3. Tap on Download and Install
4. Wait until you see One UI 8 at the top of the page, then tap on Download
5. Wait for the download to complete, then tap on Install

After you perform the above steps, your phone will be running One UI 8 based on Android 16, and you can enjoy its new features and with many improvements on place. This makes sure that your experience gets improved.

If you still didn’t get the update for your device, wait for a few days or a few weeks, then check for updates again. If you still see “Your software is up to date,” this means that the update didn’t reach your region yet.

Note that the update process may take 15 to 20 minutes, and this can vary from device to device. The download process may incur extra charges if you’re using the cellular network as the update size is around 5 GB, depending on the device, so we recommend downloading it through Wi-Fi. Never interrupt the update process in any way, or problems may occur. Make sure that your phone gets charged before you initiate the installation process.

One UI 8 Beta 2 is out [Galaxy A35]!

One UI 8 has made a significant appearance, with new features and other improvements. We are very thrilled to announce that Samsung has released the second beta version of One UI 8 (build ZYI6) that has the following changes:

• Bugs that have been fixed
  • Fixed an issue that VDIS function is not working on ‘Camera Front Photo > Quick take’
  • Fixed ANR when Selecting Sticker settings in Photo Editor
  • Fixed an issue that Notes added from the Call Ending screen are not displayed in the Recent Log
  • Fixed the issue that Predictive text is working in Password fields
  • Fixed CP crashes
• Many other improvements

Samsung has started the official rollout for the Galaxy S25 starting from Korea on September 15th, 2025.
