Die Hochhaus-Schwammerl von Wien zu taufen macht Spaß. Ich mag die Vorstellung, dass diese Gebilde wie Titanen neben uns in der Stadt leben und Alltag haben mit ihrer Tafelrunde. Das Hochhaus mit dieser glänzenden Rüstung habe ich Galahad getauft.

After subscribing to Prog magazine I heard Galahad for the first time and bought this album and Battle Scars. Sea of Change is modern day classic track (it's 42 minutes long) with all the granduor of a Suppers Ready or a Gates of Delerium but with a modern day twist, bringing politics into the equation. It's not their latest release but the sampler worked a treat and I'm so glad it steered me Galahads way.

Will man in einem Haus leben, das wie ein Reibeisen aussieht? Ich könnte jetzt polemisch werden, unfair wie Karl Kraus, aber in der Substanz schon recht besitzen. Diese gegenwärtige wiener Hochhauskultur (?) ist das Gegenteil einer Wiener Moderne, weil es nicht die Besserung des menschlichen Lebens zum Ziel trägt, sondern nur noch narzistischen Kick. Widerlich. Zeitgeist, den muss man aber nicht gut finden.
