The Suneater is a living-plasma based weapon created by an offshoot of the same race which created the Green Lantern Corps. Its purpose is to annihilate worlds by consuming their number one power source; their sun (... though as Solar Systems usually have at least two suns on average, at least two suneaters would be needed. Galactose (/ɡəˈlæktoʊs/, galacto- + -ose, sometimes abbreviated Gal), is a common monosaccharide, i.e. a simple sugar. It is classified as a reducing hexose, more specifically an aldohexose. In terms of structure, it is a C-4 epimer of glucose. A white, water-soluble solid, it is about 80–90% as sweet as glucose and about 65% as sweet as sucrose.
With its intention (to cause everyone in the Universe to get Diabetes!), Galactose is accompanied by the SilverSpoon on his journey through the Universe and often visits his doctor in Manhattan on the planet Earth (very reasonable insurance plan). -

Fantastic Four Is Fraktastic! (First Steps)
So I decided against seeing the new Superman movie (as I am not a fan of the character overall—except the Man of Steel movie version) & instead chose to see Fantastic Four: First Steps instead.
Darnell Clayton standing in front of a Fantastic Four: First Steps Promo posterOverall, the movie did a better job presenting the First Family’s initial foe, Galactus, & overall the film had a whimsical, Jetsons-on-adventure vibe (which is very different from previous Marvel films).
Overall, I enjoyed the film, which is more or less a light-hearted adventure that helps take one’s mind off the stressors of the day.
I did feel like the Silver Surfer’s role was wasted (why did they even appear‽) and should have been more imposing, but aside from that flaw, it was a decent film.
Would I recommend people seeing it‽ Yes & no. Yes, if you grew up reading comics or are a superhero genre fan. But if that does not describe you, wait until this movie comes out on your favorite streaming site.

I've loved Marvel since I was tiny, but I gotta say there's something pretty hilarious about a company who wants to create a terrifying, nigh-unstoppable planet-devouring force and comes up with "big guy in purple tights".
