#Solo had much better box office projections than it actually brought in.

Getting access to this pin was clandestine fun: They were hidden in a secret locked case on the store floor, revealed to eager pledges of the Resistance by the store shopkeeper... but importantly, only when the First Order wasn't around.

I watched "Star Wars Galaxy's Edge: Adventure Awaits" for the 20 bazillion the time. I tear up at every watch.
...but I'm still incredibly bitter about Disney's closure of the "Star Wars Galactic StarCruiser". You folks have no idea what you missed out on. 😢
At least I got to take my family to experience it together. My kid still talks about it.

Having watched Jenny Nicholson's starcruiser video, I'm tempted to write an adventure where the player characters are stuck behind pillars on a rundown starliner, get stuck with dodgy apps, have everything set to an insane schedule, run around scanning crates in a backwater outpost in the pouring rain, and get back home to deal with lost packages, billing issues, and endless gaslighting.

I should mention that everyone needs to watch Justin & Naomi's home video... it's the best thing ever.
Every Halcyon influencer on the Internet is in this video. The Sonfelds, Dan-O, Heroes of the Halcyon, Princess & Scoundrel, etc.
And the costumes are top shelf. So envious of those that got to go on this trip!

Nothing beats the Starcruiser cuisine. I miss that so much. The crawfish was sooo DELICIOUS. And I never missed a breakfast which had Portuguese Sausage - a Hawaiian favorite. (They called it something else)
Despite its visual fame, the Endurian Blue Shrimp besides their huge size, were the most ordinary dish onboard. It was just LARGE cocktail prawns. 😁
But it was all unlimited. You could have 2nds, 3rds, 4ths...

The grand finale has the Halcyon being taken over by the First Order when Sammie, the 'turncoat' ship's engineer (who turned in Chewbacca to the First Order) shows his true colors.
He removes his helmet & reveals he's been impersonating a Stormtrooper & holds the First Order leadership at gunpoint & kicks them off the ship.
The surprise reveal has the crowd going wild! (Except the First Order followers)

And this was my moment: I stole the Hayananeya Stone from the Hyperspace Compass & kept it in secret. Things didn't go to plan when some guests blew their assignment, I pulled Gaya from the Sublight Lounge ("Sparkling eyes" anyone?)
Things went sideways & I mule-d the stone to the cargo hold to get off the ship while Raithe Kole was interrogated by the Order. I passed the stone to Raithe here who presented the stone to Gaya.

First Order fans know what this is: The finale with Lt. Croy. This was really important for highly engaged followers of the First Order.
Lt. Croy would give shoutouts to key members of his posse & you could see how proud each recipient was. One girl, a turncoat named "Steph3PO" was so elated by her very public recognition, she burst into tears.
"Crying? WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE FIRST ORDER?!?" <insert raucous laughter>

The most magnificent part of the Halcyon ship has to be the BRIDGE. The experience - going to Hyperspace, controlling weapons, shields, systems repair, talking to C3PO, Chewie, Hondo... such cinematic tension.
And again, it was an experience: You got to not just witness the story but participate in it, including bringing a stolen crate of coaxium to Sammie on the bridge, taking secret orders from Capt Keevan, etc.

Each voyager had a 'Trust' rating w/ all the characters. I managed to get a 'High' trust rating w/ everyone except the First Order.
You had backchannel communications w/ each character you encountered thru the Datapad. I think there's some sort of "near field communication" that gets transmitted when you talk with characters because after doing so, it was rly common to immediately get a message from them after you walk away.

One of the neat things about the voyage was you had an itinerary on your Datapad but it was purely voluntary for the most part.
If you bailed on things because of conflicts it didn't matter ("off the books meetings" w/ Halcyon characters were common) ... but you did tend to have FOMO. (This drove the some voyagers crazy & you could always tell who those were by their complaining.)
It was non-stop activity & discovery.

I was on a "Force" path mission that involved connecting to a radio transmitter next to Savi's. I couldn't lock on to it despite trying for a 30min.
I was mysteriously allowed in to Rey's exclusive viewing of the secret "Holocron", featuring a 3D hologram of Yoda.
I assumed it was the Saja that let me in but apparently I scanned a secret crate that shortcutted me to the viewing.
Never did figure out how thehologram worked.

Visits to Batuu / StarWars Galaxy's Edge is very different from being a normal visitor. The shuttle has special ads & an onboard robot.
The private entrance to Batuu has a eerily quiet hallway with your own personal crew concierge. We had them provide us with extra batteries to charge my son's phone.
There's some funny items that only Starcruiser passengers get to see. Here's one of the signs that you can see, for example.

The detail of the Halcyon is unparalleled & is loaded with endless surprises.
For example, if you're paying attention, Han Solo & Leia Organa's initials are etched into the wall of engineering.
Or Han labeled the hull scrub controls as being for "mynocks".
Or there's an in-universe ATM. Which was down.
And there's a ship's christening plate.

Upon completing various paths during your stay on the Halcyon, you are given special badges in the playDisney app that persist even after your trip is over.
These are some of the badges I have. The Gaya's Crew badge was a lot of work... and the Holocron Archivist badge was a whopper too. But they were so much fun... and so surprising.
