Das Kapitel Studio Gainax ist juristisch geschlossen. Wie das Bezirksgericht Tokio bekannt gab, wurde das Insolvenzverfahren über das Vermögen der Gainax Co., Ltd. am Mittwoch, den 10. Dezember 2025, offiziell für beendet erklärt. Mit dem Abschluss des Verfahrens erlischt die Rechtspersönlichkeit des Unternehmens; die Firma wird aus dem Handelsregister gelöscht.
