They put two small gaga pits in one of the play areas by the shiny (fake grass) new international football fields. I have not seen a gaga pit in over 30 years since playing in the East Bay elementary school I attended.
Gaga was the source of many a skinned knee, elbow, and occasional broken limb among my young peers as 30-40 girls and boys crowded into a much larger pit than pictured here. I distinctly remember that pit being made out of long 2" x 6" wood boards standing atop the asphalt playground.
I eventually tired of playing and preferred to hang with close friends watching from afar on the playground sometimes preferring to play Calvinball instead.
In any case, two of the international football fields are now open for youth matches today. It was a good opportunity to inspect the construction site a little more closely than what I did last weekend without any light trespassing. I was not alone—a pack of 5 deer, mainly young, were grazing near the drainage basin behind the park.

Ich las in letzter Zeit hier im Fediverse einige Male, die @spdbt solle die Koalition verlassen und Neuwahlen den Weg bereiten. Ich bin jedes Mal zusammen gezuckt bei der Vorstellung, da eine #schwarzbraunekoalition ausgemacht scheint.
Inzwischen denke ich, dass es auch Vorteile hätte. Der ganze rechtspopulistische, faschistische und menschenverachtende Dreck, den die #KleiKo hier unter dem Deckmantel einer angeblichen demokratischen Rechtsstaatlichkeit verzapft, wäre dann wenigstens eindeutig. Niemand müsste sich mehr einreden, in einem Rechtsstaat zu leben, der nur das Beate für seine Bürger will.
