We need an intergenerational effort to stengthen native languages, each of us taking responsibility for what we can do in our own lives & in our communities.

Languages become minoritised because they are disadvantaged. They need to be advantaged for redress to occur.

Just learned that my daughter has spent the last several weeks religiously studying #Gaelg / #Manx in her spare time, just because.

I foresee a holiday to Douglas someday

#Gaeilge is now a fully official EU Language. Should make it easier to bring #Gàidhlig and maybe even #Gaelg (Manx Gaelic) in someday if the UK collapses and they join EU. Might form the skeleton for a Welsh translation of EU law & regulations also, grammatically at least.
