    A quick shout out to a genuinely fantastic #Cardiff #Caerdydd institution: Cardiff Cycle Workshop, based near Big Tesco in #Gabalfa.

    Popped in there just now to collect a new-second-hand bike. My fifth (might be sixth) from there in c20 years. Affordable bikes, great service, friendly people. Love it. 🚲

    This is interesting. The suburb of #Cardiff / #Caerdydd in which I live (a place called #Gabalfa) apparently had a type of apple (“the Gabalfva apple”) named after it at the turn of the last century. The species is to be reintroduced, with trees being planted in the park round the corner. How very lovely and wholesome. 🍎 🍏
