So my daughter wants to take my 8 year old #Canon #G9x on a trip. Turns it on and it asks for the date to be set. "No problem", says the old man, "I'll get a new RTC battery". GUESS WHAT: It's a proprietary soldered battery that requires disassembly of the camera.
