  1. The Panasonic FZ-G1 tablet looks pretty good there in my Crown Vic. Too bad I don't have any way to really mount it. and it covers the #Anytone microphone up just a little too much.

  6. Because I got tired trying to figure out why the 'A1' and 'A2' buttons don't work on my #Panasonic #FZG1 #Tablet -
I made a USB OTG Keyboard using a #M5Stack #AtomS3 Officially the AtomS3 doesn't support OTG, but a little trick with the serial port and it worked. Each Icon sends a "Ctrl-Shift" and letter, and I mapped each to a keyboard shortcut in #LinuxMint #Cinnamon #Desktop A couple of small issues, but generally it works really well.

  11. Woot! Woot! Picked up a #Panasonic #FZG1 #Tablet #Computer pretty cheap, because the sound wasn't working. - I don't care if the sound works or not - but as it turns out it works with the headphone jack, but not on board speaker (weird, unless the speaker is disconnected, or blown)
I proceeded to put #Linux #Mint on it, and for the most part everything just works.
It is an older tablet, with a 4th gen i5 - but it is fast, a lot faster then I expected.
