Vendors who provide #firmware updates through #LVFS is likely to sell more products.
So it will be interesting to learn which ones will pitch in to fund this amazing service.

What about if it is visible in the GUI, or #fwupdmgt output in the terminal if a vendor sponsors the service?
https://fwupd.org/lvfs/vendors/ could be made easier for users to find in, including if a device is updateable from there before deciding to buy it.
This is a positive opportunity for everyone!

Yesterday, I ran a firmware update on Linux: "sudo #fwupdmgt update” which showed an intel ME update I ran.
Device: Lenovo #T490.
Since then, I can't boot my #Linux (#NixOS) anymore. Instead, I have a strange boot-loop into the BIOS.
Up-to-date details: https://md.darmstadt.ccc.de/s/WcxbmDtwF# (reload for updates!)
If you have any ideas I might try, please do let me know.
