Did someone say #fwupd on #Android? I've just merged initial support for updating firmware using fwupd that works over Binder using AIDL. It's not screenshot-ready yet, but it at least builds with the NDK and certainly *might* work.

@jwildeboer it also shows the vendors not using the LVFS that people *are* going update on Linux regardless of them providing #fwupd support :)

Interessanter Angriff: https://www.heise.de/news/Download-more-RAM-Windows-Sicherheit-durch-RAM-EEPROM-geknackt-11415690.html
Ist jemand da was bekannt?
@hughsie might be interested (and possibly already know about it)

Microsoft entscheidet, ob dein Linux startet
Linux-Bootloader hängen an Microsoft-Signaturen.

🚀#NVIDIA #Linux #LVFS #fwupd #OpenSource #SysAdmin #TechNews #LinuxDesktop #FOSS

I'm pleased to announce that #NVIDIA is now supporting the #LVFS as a premier sponsor.
The rollout of the NVIDIA DGX Spark firmware using #fwupd is going very well indeed, with downloads continuing to increase every day.
This now takes us to 4 OEMs sponsoring LVFS, which means we've successfully reached the funding target we set for ourselves last year. More exciting announcements coming soon!
