  1. Service-Toot

  3. Is anyone usimg #FWallet for #Android? I have .pkpass files which cannot be imported (i guess - no feedback) and i want to find out why.
Also i am not sure if #Termux can import via CLI since it is sandboxed?
Sometimes i wish i was fully on #LinuxMobile already.
Are there any other apps out there i could try? #FDroid preferred.

    #MobileLinux #PKPass

  4. It's 2024 and canonically detecting the character set of a file is still trial and error.

Anyway, found out why many PkPass files don't import into #fWallet. Someone seemingly had the glorious idea to encode the manifest.json as us-ascii rather than UTF-8 🤯 ...

  5. Anyway, one more #fWallet release out - now including the patches from @ptrc about asset scale and Stringification as well as Mandarin translations 🎉.

    gitlab.com/TheOneWithTheBraid/

Available in AUR, Alpine & #postmarketOS and F-Droid once the build cycle picks it up next week.

Wanna contribute more translations ? fWallet as of now supports 10 languages. Add more on : hosted.weblate.org/projects/fw

  6. #fWallet now supports manual language settings. Off course, your PkPass file will also translate correspondingly (in case supported by the issuer) !

    #LinuxMobile !

Available for Alpine, postmarketOS, Android or from AUR !

  7. This feeling if you only wanted to merge one merge request and 3 hours later accidentally push a new release. Well.

    Anyway, #fWallet 1.1.5 now released.

There were not many new changes, but a very friendly contribution of Florian adding new localization features and as on pretty every release of pretty any of my projects a maintenance contribution from @lnl ! Thanks a lot to both of you !

  8. Why am I urged to make the #Phosh ticket box more plugin based ? I mean, one could have a DBus API for drop-in ticket providers so that we could e.g. use #KDEItinerary or #fWallet as external ticket providers in there 👀 ?

  9. @martijnbraam You could simply check the hashtag #fWallet to find related past toots. This is the initial one bringing it up for Linux Mobile : fosstodon.org/@mobian/11147007

  10. Implemented some DB subscription APIs in Dart - Aztec decoding included. Exect a end-user release of #fWallet with the ability to import picture layout subscriptions and tickets (please not no regular tickets yet, still lacking sample data).

  11. First successful import of a DB #DeutschlandTicket into the open source wallet app #fWallet - the implementation is currently still highly work in progress - I will push the implementation as well as the Dart API package for the DB subscription API as soon as it's fully functional 🎉 ...

  12. #fWallet - getting closer to some first #DTicket formats 🎉 ...

No worries, the one supported format hopefully won't stay the only format for very long.

  13. Which Android wallet app can view the tickets from #37c3 better? #fwallet is light green on light background

  14. Released an update to #fWallet and the Dart #PkPass library : Now supporting PkPass WebServices e.g. for subscription updates, moreover you can now share/export PkPass files.

Bonus : There's (more or less) working CI for #aarch64 available, so you can easily try it on your Linux mobile phone !

  15. @mobian #fWallet #aarch64 CI builds built on Debian sid are now available for testing : gitlab.com/TheOneWithTheBraid/

You can either download a deb package or an archive containing the binaries.
