I have people I met through Twitter I would drop everything and get on a plane for - communities whole and healthy all over the world. I've gone to see a woman who had a huge influence on my life, who helped save my life, as cancer took hers.
The #SOMT and #FuzzDnD exists because of Twitter! Those folks are my family.
That is gone. It was a unicorn, and it was amazing while it lasted, but I don't think Twitter/Social will ever exist like that again - we let the algorithm out of the bag.
