Thanks to @mlanger for putting a beatiful wire frame and chain on one of my cabs. It has arrived and looks so much better IRL than a photo could capture. The wire is silver, but the photo doesn't show it well.

One thing I stumbled on that I *will* be buying at some point is some twisted fiber rope.

I was literally wondering the other day if they made fiber paper in a "string" format - AND THEY DO!

And it's only $10 for 8 feet that you can untwist to get whatever string diameter you need.

Good morning. Today I tackle the hardest part of the #glass class project. It's moving from pieces and parts to a completed design that looks like this image. The instructor says he can do this in 4-6 hours after having done it for many years. I hope to finish in under 20 hours. Wish me luck!

An experiment that I think was successful: Trying to mimic the appearance of an old mirror losing its silvered surface.
