FurryTram Mannheim yesterday evening was a full success. None of my fears came true and we had a great time partying all around Mannheim, Weinheim and Heidelberg!

🚂 Rail replacement dance on March 7!
The #FurryTram doesn't roll through Frankfurt any more - but now there is a replacement!
On Saturday, March 7, we will party at LSKH Frankfurt from 18:00 to 02:00, close to Konstablerwache. That's a queer association that lets us use their location.
The entrance fee is 18€, there is a bar with fair prices, and the dance is puppy friendly!

Jan 15: Sent an email to HEAG (Darmstadt tram operator) regarding #furrytram rental, got autoreply from their ticket system
Jan 28: Called them to ask about my ticket, guy said the colleague handling this topic is ill at the moment
Feb 9: I call again, guy tells me they can not give me any direct number to call, I will have to wait for an email response
Feb 9: I find a direct number, call it, it is the right guy, he tells me they don't rent out trams at all currently

Called a boat company that advertises "everything is possible on our ships" to inquire about a party boat as a replacement for #furrytram Frankfurt. Person on the other end immediately told me that they can't do party boats anymore because of the FUCKING neighbours complaining about noise and I just-

Really cool commission I hadn't shared outside of my Ko-fi yet: @cato contracted me to design a real printed circuit board to use as a badge for the event FurryTram Frankfurt!
Learning to set up the vector layers to be manufactured as one was really neat. Cato also thoughtfully sent me my own copy!

FurryTram Frankfurt yesterday was so much fun once again. It all worked so well, in a large part thanks to my awesome team of helpers <3
We had enough time for setup, we left on time, the battery setup that @patagona built worked flawlessly, we had ample battery capacity left so there was no range anxiety, just in general there were no major problems, our driver absolutely LOVED it and yeah. awawa :3

Great, it's just the same shit as last year. ver.di strikes all around the #furrytram date. So I gotta wait anxiously once again to see if the event will be affected. Why are there new strikes just one year later and even around the same time? :neofox_scream:

it makes me so happy to see the driver for #FurryTram Frankfurt be super excited already because he basically gets to be paid to drive a furdance through the city :D he just showed me his duty roster entry for that day all excited. he usually is an operations planner so he doesn't get to drive a tram all too often as far as i know

I'm also just in a great mood overall. I had a blast this weekend at 2Dance, met a few new nice people, danced and listened to some behind the scenes stories :3 and the partying will continue next Saturday with #FurryTram Frankfurt, which is gonna be a busy day for me but I'm sure it's gonna be worth it!

Don't wanna tell too much, but I've written a script that automates the entire badge generation process for #FurryTram Frankfurt :D it involves getting order data from pretix, generating input images, programmatically generating SVGs (5 MB lol) out of those input images, rendering those as PNGs in the correct size, pasting them into the badge template, and generating a PDF out of all the badges. :3

I wrote a small Python script that pulls order data for an event from pretix, filters for attendees which have answered a consent question to be publicly listed as attendees with "yes" and updates a specific node in a static HTML page with the list of attendee names. I use it for my #FurryTram event - previously, I used to just regularly export order data and run a script manually, then update the page manually. Now it's done with a cronjob :D

Having a short break during last #furrytramffm Frankfurt. The gentleman with the tram conductor's cap on the left is actually Munich's Furrytram organizer, which will take place tomorrow :) And just today, the date for next year's Frankfurt #furrytram was announced:
