Do you know what would be super rad? A VGMPlay addon for Godot. Something where you can export a VGM from Furnace or a NSF from FamiTracker and play them the same as an AudioStream.
I sincerely doubt I have the knowhow to do it, just getting C++ to work in Godot has been a Herculean task in and of itself, but it is a really cool idea that I think a lot of retro-style games could take advantage of!
I'm aware of FLMusicLib for Godot 3, but that is unfortunately limited. I hope some day I can make a VGM player addon!

I’ve made one game before called “Witch Brew Dive” for GBJAM, a Game Boy-themed game jam in 2024. You play as a lil’ witch girl making wizardly potions and eerie concoctions for customers at your witch brew shop! It’s not a complete game, but people seem to like it! I hope one day that I’ll go back, finish, and polish it up.
This website, Transfem Social, looks really neat! It looks like an online place I could really find myself belonging. I hope it will!
In the meantime, I thought that this could be the place I could go to talk about the projects I’m working on. :NepSmile: For example, right now I’m working on a game about cute trans women!! That’s all I really wanna say about it until the game is further into development. I’m working on it by myself, so it’s a lot to do for one person, but I work on it almost every single day!
(I often wonder what could be done if I had a small team working on the game…)
game dev is…hard……
Unfortunately, during the process of switching to Linux my main hard drive corrupted and (among a LOT of other important things) the game project files have disappeared. So it looks like it’s back to square one! Yay!!!
This isn’t my first time restarting a project from scratch. Refactoring existing code? What’s that?? With this opportunity, I believe I’ve solidified a better code implementation of upscaling the visuals and switching between different border options. I’ve even made a screenshot feature! Hopefully, this code will be easily reusable in future projects. 😤
I hope people will find what I do interesting and maybe even inspiring. I am certainly inspired by others and I would love to talk about stuff like game dev, music, and more in the future! Feel free to leave comments and say hi!! ^_^
