Auf dem Präsentierteller, die 1990 aus Vietnam in die #Schweiz zurückgebrachte Zahnrad-Dampflok HG 4/4 704 . Die 800 PS-Dampflok ist die stärkste betriebsfähige Meterspur-#Zahnradlok Europas. Die Lok war während 12 Jahren aufgearbeitet worden.

Am #grimsel und #furka und Co. war eine große Gruppe #Sportwagen unterwegs. Zig mal kamen die mit einem Tempo, Kurven schneidend, ... dass man nur für sich und andere hoffen kann.Die standen sogar im #Gruppenzwang an einer #tankstelle in #Innertkirchen.
#nachhaltig und #rücksichtsvoll geht anders.

A 1970s class Deh4/4 #MGB narrow-gauge unit, originally part of the #BVZ (for Brig-Visp-Zermatt) fleet, will work the train over the rack railway sections of the #Furka and #Oberalp line.

Today a photo of the #Furka-#Oberalp narrow-gauge rack and pinion railcar BDeh2/4 #41 at the railway’s #Brig Glisergrund workshops. This unit was built in the early 1940s.
The #Lötschberg line is visible right above the engine shed.
