The Bagatelle No. 25 in A minor for Solo #Piano was written #today in 1810.
It became known as "Fur Elise" (For 'Elise') only after it was discovered posthumously and #published in 1867, 40 years after the #composer's death(!), in an #anthology by Ludwig Nohl, "New Letters by #Beethoven".
The inscription read: "For Elise on April 27 in memory by L. v. Bthvn"
But, who was "Elise"?!? Scholars suggest three possibilities.

Aber wenn das in dem Video ein Anfänger ist, dann werde ich den Status eines Anfängers in den nächsten 400 Jahren wohl nicht mehr erreichen. 😎 ✌️
Den Teil den ich bislang kann, ist dann wohl auch die extrem Slo-mo Version und dauert 14 Minuten. 😂 -

I love how that part is "fuck you in particular" (I know it's meant to be, which is funnier), but seriously I hate when I have to play it. I know it's going to be easier soon :)

One unusual time and place you might hear Fur Elise is in Taiwan on bin day. The bin lorries there play this tune, rather like an ice cream van, to tell people it’s time to put their bins out.
