Okay funghi friends, are these oyster mushrooms, do you think?

They are growing from an old stump which is buried underground now.

We have finally had some rain and these have appeared.

I might have left some from last year over this spot so the spores could fall there. But are these good to eat I wonder?

These fellas suddenly popped up at the corner of the new gravelled area.

When I dug that out for the membrane (old carpet) and gravel I noticed the mycelium beneath the turf layer.

I guess it's been a good autumn for fungi here, but we've never had these before - in thirty years. I wonder if my laisser faire approach has allowed the ecosystem to shift and this mycelium to develop. And did digging stimulate it?

They look pretty much like field mushrooms, but the stems, when cut, stain yellow so I'm resisting the temptation to cook them up, until someone who knows their mushrooms tells me they are safe.

Hier hab ich aber echt keine Ahnung wie die heißen und Flora Incognita mag keine Pilze... Ist ja auch keine Flora. Aber wenn jemand eine taugliche App empfehlen kann wäre ich neugierig!
