Made a schedule for my first day of #funemployed, to be at my desk at 6am sharp like any other day

Proud to say it's 7am and I'm still just getting through the morning chores and routine

I've only recently realized how emotionally exhausted I've been for the last 6 months, since my father's death, but also many other things since then

Not helped in the least by my former bosses' intruding on my personal time 3 times in the last week, including taking a Monday off as a personal day & having him DM-ing me to "stand by for the next hour and a half" to assist the team with something...before they had even had a chance read the documentation I left & look into the problem on their own 😠

Imagine if you will standing on a hiking trail at 400m with spotty connection, trying to type instructions into your phone while your friends keep looking back to see if you are still with them...

Lots to do every day, but getting some sleep and back into a healthy routine tops the list

This is gonna be a loooooong weekend!! Whhhhhheeeeee! #funemployed

I might also put the company logo next to the card list of company blog posts that I'm highlighting on the portfolio page.

What else can I add? Besides more content about why I'm #funemployed ?

In my two months break between jobs, I'm keeping myself busy 😉

I said to my husband i would make a nice diner as a thank you for working so hard whilst I'm #funemployed

It happens to also be true that I wanted roast potatoes. I contain multitudes. Two birds one stone. etc.

At last, I’m #funemployed!

So, I appear to have just become #funemployed because someone didn't file the right paperwork four years ago. Unless I magically buy a house on US soil and live there.

Today's my last day at Google 🥲

I'm taking some time off to focus on my family, personal health, and to work on my bots.

If anyone knows of a role that'll fit me, I'll appreciate the intro! 😊

Layoffs are finally coming to Belgium, so I’m now on the #jobsearch, and would appreciate any suggestions on Python, Django, Linux or Kubernetes opportunities. I might be in Brussels, but I’m welcoming this new chapter with open arms.
