Ico was my favorite game growing up. I played it every year at least once for about ten years.
It is my favorite art style of all time. naturalistic but also very fantastic.

#Ico and the rest of the #FumitoUeda trilogy of games. Is about contact. With the light that we have the opportunity to create in the darkness of our reality. The light is a spark from the friction of souls coming into contact.
(It doesnt have to be romantic or eternal. It doesnt have to be pious or temporary.)
It's the language we have to understand metaphors and reality because in the beginning was the word. It's the judgment and salvation.

I am obsessed with #YokoTaro's work to a degree that is comparable to the level of fascination I had with #FumitoUeda when I was a teen.
Something about his meditations on failure and love. Really resonate with me.
I am hoping to replay some of his games this year.
