@HighlandLawyer @cstross @marjolica Oddly enough, I had never heard of anything named lorne except for Canadian entertainers until yesterday, when I looked up the alternative versions of the #FullEnglishBreakfast. Big news this morning about #FullEnglishBreakfast. I don’t mind hash browns being included necessarily and we shouldn’t strive for purity in something that is almost bound to have regional variations.
What did catch my eye is the English Breakfast Society. Who are these people? Maybe the founder is from Bury so can speak with authority on black pudding?
Turns out, not so much.

I've always wondered why the complementary #breakfast offered in American hotels is called a "continental" breakfast, so I finally looked it up.
It's continental as in Europe, i.e. it's not a #FullEnglishBreakfast but something lighter.
Part of the reason I looked it up was because the hotel in #Prague at the #UbuntuSummit served the components of an English "fry up" which surprised me!
